- 2 medium bananas, sliced
Instructions of Bananas Foster Cheesecake
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- To make the crust, In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan.
- To make the cheesecake filling, In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together the cream cheese and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the flour, mashed bananas, cinnamon, nutmeg, and rum. Beat in the eggs one at a time, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
- Pour the cheesecake filling into the prepared crust and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
- While the cheesecake is baking, make the spiced caramel topping: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Stir in the brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and heavy cream.
