Ingredients of Banana Margarita Drink
- 1 cup ice
- 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur, such as Cointreau or Triple Sec
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Coarse salt or sugar, for rimming the glasses (optional)
Instructions
- If rimming the glasses, rub the rim of each glass with a lime wedge and dip in salt or sugar.
- In a blender, combine the ice, banana, tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and sugar. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the margaritas into the prepared glasses and serve immediately.
Garnish with a lime wedge and/or a banana slice, if desired.
