  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×9-inch (23×23 cm) baking pan.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the mashed bananas with lemon juice and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  6. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the sour cream. Start and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  7. Fold in the banana mixture. Be careful not to overmix.
