  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. In a separate microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop, melt the butter. Allow it to cool slightly.
  4. Combine the melted butter and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl, and whisk them together until well combined.
  5. Add the mashed bananas, egg, and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
